Richard,

My wifes car runs on vegetable oil and sometimes I am able to drive a vegge car around town for a few weeks (which is nice on the wallet)

we filter used oil, which is common these days. it takes some time, and careful and scheduled maintenance of the fuel filter system.

would using clean vegetable oil be a viable option.

would u know how vegetable cooking oil is produced? from what part of the vegetable, what kind and what's the process like?
it would be interesting to know, to contemplate the validity of making clean vegetable oil for fuel.

thanks, it was nice to meet you tonight, and i like your website, very clean, and easy to get around.
aloha,

Howzit Alan:

Vegetable oil? I'm jealous!! How do you do that?

I am not familiar with vegetable oil production. The same economics above would apply.

We are also looking at farm appropriate technology that we could use for primary fuel. But, as I mentioned to you last night we are building a hydroelectric plant and are converting as much as we can to electricity--as we decouple ourselves from fossil fuels.

Seems exciting what you guys are doing with your business. Please stay in touch.
Aloha
