Shouldn't that be a multiple fork in the road, with turns also leading to solar, wind and hydro power? I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned by someone who I understand is personally investing in hydro.

Hi Dave:
I did not mean to leave out the options you mention. But, since base power is 85 to 90 percent of what the utilities will accept, I just used geothermal--the cheapest source of base power. Geothermal breakseven around $60 per barrel oil. Locally grown bio fuel is around $320 per barrel and oil is now around $80, But, we saw it spike to $147 last summer.

It is true that I am going to use hydro power and I would have a relative advantage if expensive bio fuels was used for base power.

I am just trying to position a better future for our young people.
